We are proud to announce the Brooks x Damon Brown Collection, a celebration of Black runners in America and the communities they've created for one another. A collaboration with Seattle-based artist Damon Brown, this collection is the newest addition to the Brooks Artist Series and will launch exclusively in Black-owned running stores.

Crafted using Damons singular voice and artistic vision, this limited-edition collection uses bold shapes and distinctive color palettes to celebrate Black runners in America and the communities they have created for one another.
Seattle-based artist Damon Brown aka Creative Lou uses bold colors to encapsulate his subjects emotions. His impressive portfolio includes beautiful murals around Seattle. Much of his art portrays Black subjects, and Damon is deeply invested in the Black community even outside of his work.

ARTISTS STATEMENT ON THE COLLECTION
I aimed to create dynamic illustrations that captured the spirit and energy of Black runners and the sport of running itself. The silhouettes in the designs represent the past and present Black runners who have helped to pave the way for the sport.
The new Brooks Ghost Max delivers enhanced protection thanks to plenty of soft cushioning, a super stable ride, and rocker-like transitions that propel you forward. This neutral shoe is great for running or walking, as it helps absorb impact to protect your feet.
